Adding Calculation Fields in SAP Queries
  1. Open the query in SQ01
  2. Goto > Field selection > Field Selection 'This is where the column will be added
  3. Edit > Short names > Switch on/off 'To show the field that will allow you to name the column
  4. Input names for fields that will be used in the calculation
  5. Edit > Local field > Create 'create the column
  6. Input a Short Name, Field Description and Heading
  7. In Properties, select Calculation field and input the Number of Digits
  8. In Calculation Formula input the formula
  9. In Condition, input the condition when the formula will be applied
In the example, %DATE = today's date. It The value to be displayed in the field is today's date minus the date in DISCHPORT. This calculation will only apply if DISCHPORT is not equal to blank. <> is not equal to, and 00/00/000 in date field is blank.

Q: How do I set the G/L automatically based on product category in the shopping cart?

A:  Please follow steps below.

  1. In SPRO Go to Define G/L Account for Product Category and Account Assignment Category
  2. Maintain Category ID, SourceSyst, Account Assignment Category, G/L Account and set as Default
